Torq plugs into your car's OBD port and connects you with Aldo — an AI mechanic who reads your live sensor data and explains exactly what's going on, in plain English.
Real-time data from your engine, transmission, exhaust, and more. RPM, coolant temperature, fuel trims, O2 sensors — all in one place.
Ask anything about your car. Aldo reads your live sensor data and explains faults, repair costs, and what to do next — in plain English, not jargon.
No more mystery warning lights. See exactly what each fault code means, how serious it is, and whether it's safe to keep driving.
Record sensor data over time and send it straight to Aldo. Perfect for intermittent faults that don't show up on a quick scan.
Any OBD-II car made after 2001. Petrol, diesel, hybrid — if it has an OBD port under the dashboard, Torq works with it.
All your car data is stored on your computer, not a cloud server. Only your Aldo conversations reach the internet.

Get any Bluetooth or Wi-Fi OBD-II adapter (from Amazon, ~£15–25). Plug it into the OBD port under your steering wheel.
Run Torq on your Windows laptop or PC, enter your activation code, select your OBD adapter, and you're live.

Any standard Bluetooth or Wi-Fi OBD-II adapter works. We recommend the VEEPEAK OBDCheck BLE+ (~£25 on Amazon) for reliability. Avoid the cheapest ELM327 clones — they tend to disconnect or send bad data.
If your car was made after 2001 (UK/EU) or 1996 (US), it has an OBD-II port and Torq will work. This covers the vast majority of modern cars — petrol, diesel, and hybrid.
At realistic usage of a few conversations per month, 1,500 lasts many years. If you ever hit the limit, email us at support@torq.app and we'll sort out a top-up.
Email support@torq.app with your purchase confirmation and we'll transfer your activation to your new machine — no charge.
Torq is Windows-only right now. Mac support is on the roadmap.
